E-85 ethanol is used in engines modified to accept higher concentrations of ethanol. Depending on composition and source, E85 has an octane rating of 100 - 105 compared to regular gasoline's typical rating of 87 - 93. It's big in the Midwest. Texas is beginning to sell this at more of stations. Postal Service uses it in some of their postal vehicles. I believe there are about 1500 service stations in USA. It's common in Sweden and Ireland. When made from corn, it reduces greenhouse gas emissions and carbon monoxide emissions.

Dyersburg, TN -- I went into Walmart around 4:15 this afternoon - gas was 2.34. When I left the parking lot about 45 minutes later it was down to $2.29!

It is the lowest it has been in a long time but still too high seeing as it is 100% Alberta crude refined that we are using!!!!

Enjoy the low prices while you can, there is an election coming up in the US in November,
after that is over----hoo boy!

Price will rise!!!
$4.91 ??
Very strange.

Why is it gas more expensive in Canada than in the US, when Canada drills for its own oil, and doesnt have to import it like we do here?
