Those lines could have been Hollywood's famous "creative license" but I am sure there had to be some pivotal point where the people put him ahead of the Bible since he ended up so far out from Biblical truth.
Your question is a good one and I will try to do some reserach and see. For some reason I am thinking they had cassette tapes of his sermons and used that as a basis for the sermons in the script but I could be wrong. According to my wife and Elder Epley I have been wrong before!

Thanks for the prayers!

It sounds like a tremendous learning potential you are allowing her to experience.
Sadly in some respects, your world is shrinking as hers is expanding.
Thus it goes with every parent.
Mines coming.

Your son lives in Vegas?? What church does he attend there? Is your daughter going to come on to CA or is that as far as she is going?

Our son pastors in CA. Our daughter and her husband came into the LA airport and rented a car. They've spent a few days in CA and are in Vegas the next couple of days. They will be in CA on Sunday and fly out of the LA on Monday.
Well, I guess I'm taking my husband out to eat for his birthday today! He can pick up the tab.
Later!

Re: Pray for my girl, please.
Will be praying for your daughter... may she she be used of the lord to impact as many lives as she can.
I'm praying for you as well, to rest in the knowledge that, had it not been for you, your daughter would not be having this experience. Had it not been for your guidance and godly example her life may be much different than it is. No, I disagree. Your world is not shrinking. Its expanding. The death of Jesus was the end for many people. But... for a few hardy souls, His death was the beginning of something greater. Chin up, Sister.... your work for the Lord isn't flickering. Its changing. Evolving. Into something even better.
