We saw bear tracks yesterday afternoon when we checked to see how deep the snow is on the roads out of town. The bears are waking up. Snow has melted 1" this week. It was 13" yesterday. Snow in the forecast for wednesday, praying they are wrong. Has been raining & snowing the past few days. Not sure when I last saw a full day of sunshine.
We just got back from AZ. It was 80 there when we left, with a scheduled high of 87, and a whopping 37 (with snow!) in Milwaukee when we landed. Thankfully we will be moving their permanently in 3 1/2 weeks.....
It was 76 yesterday and this morning when I got up to check the temperature gauge on the kitchen window it was 60. I love this time of year.
Of course, in a couple of months it will be Africa hot!
I'm going to Africa in a few months and it will be in the 50's at night and 70's in the daytime there!! It's their wintertime in July, and I love it! We go there to cool off. No one believes that, but it's true.

That's cool (pun intended).... Be sure to take a lot of pics to share on AFF. The Africa hot comment was from Biloxi Blues when Matthew Broderick uttered this line when he arrived at boot camp in Biloxi, Mississippi:
“Man it’s hot. It’s like Africa hot. Tarzan couldn’t take this kind of hot.”
I saw that movie back in the late eighties while in the Navy and I have never forgotten that scene....too funny!
I saw riendeer and sleigh tracks on the roof by the chimney I swept on Sat.! Even the Fat Man is confused by this weather!
