It amazes me what little faith people have in kids. The youth in our church are some of our strongest members.

. . . . members that are nonetheless scientifically proven to be deficient in brain development in the areas governing risk analysis and decision making.

You were stating that they will do whatever their parents do to excess. My experience is that this isn't even most of the time true.

If you think that teenagers make stupid decisions based on what their parents have or have not done, you are sadly mistaken. Most all teenagers make stupid decisions at some point or the other, and it rarely has anything to do with how they were raised. It has to do with them being teenagers.

Yes, we influence our children, are incredibly important in developing their character, but to imply that because someone watches the evening news on TV, that ultimately their child will watch pornography on TV, is just a bad assumption. IMO

Re: It's a sad day for Apostolics that watch TV

Gotta have my TV...

The only way I can keep up with the Anti-Christ and signs of the coming.

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Wonder how many just jump up and ran to put some clothes on??

Amen, our church too.

So really OP is right

If we live for the Lord even in moderation then our kids will do it to the extreme?!?!? I can live with that..

My experience doesn't match yours. At all.
