I would see it more as his making a choice to relinquish control.

If He is in control then a country would take the path of his choosing.

Would it not?

I have always been bewildered by the thought of God being in control of such chaos.

To me... if God is in control then things go God's way.

While, again, I do recognize that any control over any particular situation that God does not have is per His decision to relinquish said control.

In an effort to agree with you as much as I can I would say... God is in control of who is in control. But whomever is in control is, indeed, in control.

I don't know, I think Canadians are like Americans, the vast majority get thier news from mainstream media, so if it isn't reported there, they won't see it.

Although I will tell you this, while Canada is a larger Physical country that the States, our Economy, & population is one tenth the size, so for that fact alone
most Canadians are naturally "suspicious" of America. (Government, Corporations, not the people!)

Seems like I see a lot more Canadian protests against the NAU, than American.
