Funny how intolerance is found on THAT forum too.
See "open-mindedness" is really code for throw-it-all-out-da-windowness.
It is so wrong for someone to bash AM for that message.
I have the same fear AM does. The fear that this movement will be hijacked by libs the same way it has been by cons for far too long.
God, please give us some leaders with common sense.

I guess I'm needing a link here. I thought I had followed MonkeyMan's instructions and I didn't find any one saying AM "was repulsive" or anything like that.
TimLan and others said things like they thought AM's message was something of a "missed opportunity." It seems a few people wanted AM to really hammer it to a certain element. Knowing AM, I think you'd be almost delusional to think he'd "hammer it" to anybody. There was also a discussion about the "different gospels," one where you have to "work" to get into the Holiest of Holies and one where the Holiest of Holies is "within you." With a reproduction of the Ark of the Covenant right on the platform, I think the message from AM was "here it is... God is with us..." That's an encouraging message in anyone's theology.
I just don't see the "UPC bashing" and I don't see AM being put down. Maybe I got the wrong thread. Like I said, the UI is a labyrinth, at least to me.

Perhaps we see and/or don't see what we want to?
They are obviously miffed that he even hinted at appreciating tradition and heritage.

They responded to what crazy homie wrote...and he stole the words, word for word from the AFF forum.
One time, I wrote "Ha" actually commenting on AM's point. Crazy homie wrote it exactly as I mis-wrote it..as AM's "ha". The "Ha" was mine, not AM's.
These cats are sad, and be careful Mark, whom you hang around....

And of course, that is your right to think that.

You know in the last few weeks I have had to evaluate again what I believe. I don't want to believe it ust becasue someone told me to. If that is the only reason I believe it then what I had the next generation will be a weak message based on people. If what I believe is built upon the Word then what I give the next generation will actually give them a foundation to build upon that will stand the test of time.
I am thankful for holiness. I am glad that we still preach seperation from the world. There are things I have a conviction on that I can't find scripture for. I don't have to find chapter and verse for everything. If there is something I do that makes one question if I am apostolic or not then I want to stay away from it. That is why I don't have facial hair. I grew it for a SHORT time about 4 years back. The problem was I didn't look any different than the average man on the street. I felt a conviction. I won't go back to it. It is our difference that makes the difference!
I am settled on this Acts 2:38 (all 3 steps) message. I shouldn't have to include that I believe all 3 steps are necessary because real apostolics believe this, but some of this new generation wants to find an easier way or a more broad way. The only broad way I find in the Bible leads to a place I made up my mind I am NOT going to.
I am settled on the oneness. I am glad to have the revelation of the mighty God in Christ.
I will quit rambling, but I am comitted to handing the next generation a red hot apostolic holiness church. It is what was handed to me, I have a mandate for God to pass it on just as I received it.

I know you are upset MM.
I know others want to jump on this bandwagon, but let's just all remember we don't want to be guilty of what some are accusing happening over there.
We don't allow bashing here. Please remember that.
