I associate that kind of concern for appearance (the Bible term is vanity)with femininity.
But that's probably the dumb redneck in me coming out.

I don't associate it with femininity, but I do associate it with vanity and self-delusion. Like no one woud notice? I've yet to see a toupee that looks natural, and on top of that, doesn't one realize that if you're bald on Wednesday night, and come in with a full head of hair on Sunday morning, it's probably not the result of a miracle? I've seen God heal plenty of people, but I've never seen him bless a bald man with a full head of hair!

It is vanity that I tend to associate with femininity, not toupees exactly.
I don't think men who wear them are effeminate; I just think they're silly. It minimizes a man in my opinion.

I was "vain" enough to geta few perms when I was younger, but am not vain enough to wear false hair (that probably was cut from a Trinitarian! )

Well Coonskinner is coming to preach in Staunton in a few months.
I'll see how great of a faith healer he is then.
I expect hair to pop out like a chia pet!

The hair wouldn't go in the Rapture with you anyway if it came from a trinnie.

What is a chia pet anyway?
I've heard the term, but don't know what they are.
As for the faith healer thing, I am reminded of what I told that fat guy right before I laid hands on him and rebuked obesity...
"Grab your britches."

The Skinner will NOT wear a toupee or a comb-over!!!!! I'll just run my fingers across his old bald head.
He's begging for me to let him buzz his hair right now.....NO WAY!!! He has too many knots on it from his former days of being a filthy rotten sinner and I don't want to have to see them sticking out his head like horns. NO thanks!!!
