As of this morning, I can tell you, so does potato salad and toothpaste.

Unfortunately my response to stress is to eat. And my life is nothing BUT stress right now. My new goal is simply to take off the weight that I let slide back on. But I am having a hard time getting motivated.

I've had it.....I hadn't been on a scale in over a month...and today my scale came reporting to me that I am officially at my all time high.....and I am very angry!

About a month ago I started jogging 2 - 3 times a week....last week, I slacked and only went out once to the local high school track....

....I am now stepping it up and planning on 4 - 5 times a week at the track starting tonight....

....I am really UPSET and ANGRY...

I"VE HAD IT....ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!!

I have found that one mistake is to not get on the scales. It is too easy to put off if you are not faced with what the scales say each day. It is a lot easier to control if you are accountable every day and weigh. 1 or 2 lbs are a lot easier to take off than 5 or 6 or lbs!!!!!!!! I resisted this philosophy for several years, but now see the wisdom in it and practice it daily.

I dont think getting on the scale every day is good for your morale.

I think I read somewhere, it should be a weekly thing, not a daily thing.

Boss lady, Mich, what do you say?

My husband gets on the scale every day, but then he's thin and doesn't need to lose weight like the rest of us!
