Well, maybe even he has a limit on guarding his tongue.
". . . but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

Check out the "German persecution" thread he started and the pictures. He says their standards are similar. If that's what they enforce, that's a little scary. Maybe real scary. I understand why he's so freaked out at my ripped jeans.
Friend what kind of godly stewardship is it to buy a pair of trousers with rips and slashes in them?

Stewardship???? What the heck does it have to do with stewardship? If you're gonna bring that up, actually I think it was GREAT stewardship. They were originally $90 and I got them for $39. And, I get a LOT of use out of them.
But you didn't tell me what you think of the picture? I did that JUST for you!
I understand what you're saying and I don't disagree with you. I totally agree that this is a problem. I guess my point is, this is a problem that has been enabled by the state government and is now not easily fixable, if at all. But here are a couple of points to consider...
1) If suddenly everything goes legit, the monsterously increased prices are not going to be accompanied by a sudden tax break we gain from not having to support illegals. At least, not in my opinion.
Please the other position, this was the South's argument against abolitionists too. Just saying....
2) I don't know the percentage and I don't know that I've seen a study, but just from experience, I know that a great number of the illegal workers we depend on are here by themselves and NOT supporting a family here in the US. Many, and I can't say "most" although I suspect it is, work here and send a great amount of their earnings back to their family in Mexico.
