Exactly what is it that I'm denying Dan? The reference that I used is not "extra-biblical" as you would so eloquently put it. I do not believe that every refernce made concerning wine was with alcohol.

Don't pick on me too much. I'm helping Hannah with homework, and my brain is very tired. Apparently the old tried and true methods of solving equations aren't good enough anymore.

10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good WINE; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good WINE until now.
I had learned this years ago, but I needed to brush up on what I've learned. The word WINE from this passage does not indicate an alcoholic drink as most people would assume. The word WINE from these verses is derived from the Greek word "Oinos" which means fruit of the vine and not necessarily an alcoholic drink. I really do not think that Jesus would 'produce' something that people would cause others to get drunk, seeing how it is a sin to be drunk. Also understand that this passage does not imply anything that involves fermentation, as I have said "Oinos" simply means friut of the vine.

sweet wine ?? come on.
Then lets go to the winebibber...same exact root word for wine, A winebibber was one who had an overflow of wine (what you call sweetwine matthew) and became drunk.

Maybe you folks that deny there was any alcohol in bible wine could tell us how much communion "sweet wine" the Corinthians had to drink for Paul to tell them they were drunken in 1 Cor 11:21
