The "Tulsa" group (as well as others who are leaving but will not join the "Tulsa" group) do not want to leave "under question" because they are holding no animosity towards the "mother-ship," and want to still be able to remain in fellowship with some who choose to remain. If they are "under question" fellowship would be prohibited by the organization and easily enforced by resolution 3. Unfortunately, this is already beginning to happen! I know of several pastors who have cancelled evangelists that have left the organization, and vise-versus.

Right. I've mentioned the fact in past discussions that the fallout from the adoption of the AS resolution was never presented in total and was basically told I didn't know what I was talking about ... haha .... but I did know what I was talking about.
You can't blame people for trying to put the best face on things I guess.

What we really need is for somebody to cough up the Easter Attendance figures for the last five years.
I'll start it out. In 2003 the General Sunday School Division reported that there were 498,903 in the House of God on Easter Sunday 2003. The web site shows 250,384 for 2006, but appears to be incomplete. What are the real numbers?

However, I also know that - even if they don't leave - some will pull even further away from the core of the organization... and that is dangerous. We all NEED extremes to keep our own lives balanced.

But isn't your grassroots movement trying to eliminate extremes?

As far as Ethopia goes the UPC's loss in the AWCF's gain.

I worked in SS Div for several years. The Sunday School Division has a Save Our Children program and receives reports from every SS Director for the Easter attendance and Easter offering. As far as I know that is the only official count for Sunday School attendance. Not everyone in every church will send in their church attendance so the Easter report is as close as we can get but not the exact number. That report is for public knowledge. You can call SS Div at WEC anytime. ( sounworthy's wife)
