Let's look back one week from today.

The Cubs have had some very bad looking games in their 8 game winning streak.

10-9 type games.

Check out the Brewer's.

In thier past 8 games they have given up 3 or more runs only twice.

One 3 the other 5.

They have won 6 of their last 7.

Here come the Brewers.

The Cubbies won their 9th in a row!!!! They gave up 6 runs, but that doesn't matter when you can score 9!!

Part of the equation that you're not taking into consideration is that the wind has been blowing out at Wrigley. I don't know what the deal was in San Diego!

I've said it before, but it's the Brewers that I fear the most!

I just read an account of the 1908 wild Cubs season. They were tied with the Giants for the NL pennant and they were playing their last game against each other. The Giants hit a walk off base hit for the apparent win and the fans stormed the field. The baserunner stopped before touching second base and ran to the dugout for safety. In the midst of the chaos, the outfielder threw the ball to second base and the runner was call out by the umpire!! The game ended in a tie!!!

At the end of the season the two teams were still tied for the pennant, and they had to continue the game starting in the 10th inning. The Cubs won that game and went on to win the World Series!

It looks like the Cubs stole the World Series in 1908! Maybe that's why they have been cursed!

The Brewers just completed their 2nd straight sweep.

They beat the Diamond Backs today 10-1.

We completed a homestand where the team ERA was 2.10.

Only 2 of the games did they give up more than 2 runs.

Several of the games they gave up only 1 run.

Watch out here come the Crew...
