Maybe they need to cut back on the show, since they cannot afford it. They seem to be living beyond their means, and that means they are not being good stewards of their money.

Here is the deal folks. At General Conference, different divisions often compete with each other. Not in a mean-spirited way, but in a raw dollars and cents way. Divisions actually pay to have prime service times. The smaller divisions get the worst schedule times, so of course their offerings are lower.
It used to be that PPH footed most of the bill, but in recent years PPH has struggled mightily to do so. Sales have remained at the same gross dollar level, or been reduced, for several years now.
Also, our culture is a little odd (for lack of a better word). Our folks have come to expect a certain quality of "show" as some have called it. Most of our preachers would be insulted to stay at a Motel 6.
We are spoiled rotten. Apostolics are the biggest el cheapos in the world.
That being said, there is a lot of belt-tightening needed.
