Over the years I too have gained deeper understanding of certain portions of the Word which has made me wiser, deeper and broader in my spirit.

I have no doubt that God will give a "new understanding" to what is written in the sacred text. I believe there are truths that we have not yet seen opened to the Church. But it is ALL contained in the Word of God. There is no such thing as a Word from God that is found outside of the realm of the bible.

The Word of God ,never changes, while God can reveal something new to us ,it will always be based in the Bible.
God cannot contradict His word.

There is a difference between an illumination of the existing Word of God and a revelation of a NEW word from man. I believe the Bible shows that there are always areas men need to grow into while becoming more Christlike. But I do not believe that these areas are yet to be told in God's Word, since His Word is already forever settled. I don't believe you are disagreeing here. I am just making my point.
