All that's missing is the marching band and halftime.

Certainly any conscious decision to worship God with your arms, legs, feet, and hands woud be "in the flesh" and carnal and not true worship. Of course we sing unconsciously, clap unconsciously, kneel unconsciously, pray unconsciously, raise our hands unconsciously, etc.
If the moves aren't sensual and provocative, what's the problem?

Very good deacon. My mom used to come back from LA campmeeting with the back of her legs all bruised up from shouting in the benches. She would go on about the wonderful worship and moves of God. I was there, it was wonderful moves of God.
However, I would point out how to her how damaging our body in this way was no different then the pagan religions who beat their backs and such. I have seen many people physically hurt due to either themselves or others "dancing in the spirit".
I must be honest, I am not crazy about signing, sticks, footstomping and all the other new stuff. Just not my style, for one thing I am not deaf. However, I see nothing wrong with these things.
I also believe that God gets a lot more out of these organized types of worship then he does out of the actions that Deacon described above. Paul said "let everything be done decently and in order." I believe that includes worship.
When these people get together to learn the moves and practice, they are sacrificing time. That is worship. As long as it is not provocative, or brings to much attention to oneself I see nothing wrong with it.
I have been in services where woman have let out a loud and terrifying war cry and took off running down the isle as parts of their anatomy moved every which way but a decent way. This of course brought much more attention to themselves than it did to God. I'm would rather see hands with white gloves, moving in ways I don't understand in unison any day than to see sister 250lb Bertha run that isle again. Needless to say, that scared me for life.

Isn't lifting holy hands choreographed and performed as part of praise and worship...don't we choreograph clapping?

At times it is...like I said, I see no wrong in it. I just don't prefer the "performances".

Doubt it...we don't have these at our church...I'd have to go elsewhere to see them.
