You discredit quickly. Why? What do you know that I apparently do not?

If it's not legit, and you can prove it, I would like to know.

Re: And you thought YOU were apostolic?

Acknowledging that I've never heard of this man previously, I am NOT one to convict another without listening to or reviewing the evidence. Therefore I will order his biography and examine it before rendering a verdict.

I am well aware of Paul's warning that even Satan can transform himself into an "angel of light," so I am always hesitant to say yea or nay regarding the experiences of other without first examining their testimony and carefully considering its scriptural veracity. I shall not act in haste in judging Joshua Milton Blahyi until I have done so. After receipt of and examination of his own words, and prayer, I will return here, if the Lord is willing, to render my opinion.

Re: And you thought YOU were apostolic?

Aaron,

I have watched the video and read the article. I am impressed with his very dramatic testimony. I'm also puzzled by the reactions of the crowd as he tells about killing the children. Is it just me or does it sound like they are like trying to "get behind him" or something? It seems like they would get dead silent hearing this testimony.

And I am not speaking against him but would really like to know what he believes and teaches. If he is claiming Apostleship Jesus said we should try those who say they are Apostles. I would love to find one that IS one.

You really think that someone alive today could claim to be an Apostle? I'm with what Lafon said earlier...or at least what i thought he said

How can you justify a present-day Apostle? Ty

I've tried finding that out. I remember watching a video on Johnny Arcovio's website a few years ago where they met. Arcovio is an ordained UPCI minister and if memory serves, indicated on his website that Joshua had indeed been baptized in Jesus name and had received the Holy Spirit.

Is it true? Don't know. If true, did he stay with it or embrace something else? Don't know.

Lastly, I don't know if Joshua claims Apostleship. I merely referred to him as someone that might meet Lafon's requirements.

One is free to serve the state.

A 501(c)3 is a non-profit CORPORATION that is subject to the state. Therefore, the state
can exercise its influence to declare preaching against sin and homosexuality, for example, a
hate crime; and even mandate that the corporate ministry must have a minimum amount
of formal (secular) education, and must include women in the ministry.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the
free exercise thereof;"

By incorporating under a 501(c)3, the ministry (aka: church) VOLUNTARILY takes itself out
of the realm that belongs to God, even out of the jurisdiction of the Constitution, and
places itself in the realm that belongs to the carnal man.

VS, I'm sorry, but General Buck Naked? What's up with that?

I mean there are so many in these third world countries who hype up the people with the promise of miracles, signs, and wonders, but what about the Word? You know Jesus didn't have a prayer line, or anyone shaking a tambourine behind him to set a mood. I watched the video and it just seems to flaky generic Pennycostal. Revelation 12:11 is the word of our testimony of being under the blood of Jesus Christ and triumphing over Satan. Not how many children were murdered.
