I think his next wife was Priscilla. She bravely fought cancer for quite a while and even had a book published about it. I have given a couple copies of that book away.

More recently he was married to Brenda Heitzmann. I know her Mom and Dad and she grew up in the same church we attended back in the 1960's and 70's. I don't know if they got a divorce or if the marriage was annulled or if it is still "legal."

Now he has another wife? Well, the Bible says it's not good for a man to be alone.
was either anulled or never happened at the last minute, or wasnt consumated you pick one now that was shocker. i chalked it up to loneliness, since she was anything but op or ap

Her sister was my pastor's wife for a few years and PM came to Flint quite often...so I suppose I can say that I much preferred her singing in her youth to later in life.

Later on, after marrying CM, though truly sincere, she seemed more performance driven. His influence may have had something to do with that.

I loved From Heaven's Point of View, but the recording...not live.

I was looking for old Carroll McGruder albums when my search brought me to this thread.

Here is the only song I know of where he sang with Linda.

If there are more, somebody please share them with me!

ENJOY!

Do you know what year that track was released? I am guessing sometime in the late 60's or 70's?

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

There is no year on it, but he contributed to this record when he was still Assemblies of God. I think a safe bet is sometime around 1969-1970.
