I had some friends come home from Bible College with me one time and one of the guys wouldn't walk downstairs into our basement because we had a pool table down there. I was shocked; I had never heard it preached against in Illinois. (Of course there were lots of things I'd never heard preached against until I went to the South).

Roller Skating
Disney on Ice

Pool tables
Knees
Elbows
Etc. etc. etc.
Thank goodness we had principles and morals! At least those were drilled into us.

Just like I said. Always was hard to find a holiness church in Illinois. My grandparents lived in Pekin and I use to visit every summer church was rough there. Worldly and DEAD.
