Eliminate criticism. We have admin and moderators here. Disallow any open posting on the thread they are scheduled to appear on. Make sure all questions are pm'd to admin - not open forum. Follow up by not allowing any criticism of their appearance on other threads either.

Establish a need by allowing them to talk about their projects.

At risk of...

I think ol Malvie boy has a complex about this place...he shows up once a month and starts another thread like this...this has to be his 5th or 6th thread about, "What do you think of AFF?"

Dude, it's okay, it's good, it's an internet forum...the community will lose a few here or there but it will stay intact for the most part...there will always be a xxF

Multiple owners is a guarantee that no one person can walk away and close this forum. That is a GOOD thing.

Moderation isn't always a bad thing. I'd much rather have a place with moderation, than something where "anything goes" and it ends up being a bloodbath. If people were able to have a little more self control/self moderation, there wouldn't be so much admin intervention. JMHO.
YEP I agreed that multiple ownership is all good

a question to ponder is this: did posters ever even have an outlet to share their thoughts and feedback regarding the forum's direction on FCF/NFCF, like we've already given you?

Boy, I bet you are fun in meetings to improve things at work or church.

Ol Malvie boy, as you called him is representive of the admins/mods and contrary to what some may believe, we discuss on a ongoing basis ideas, improvements we want to see, etc.

I saw nothing in her post that said she wanted to "get into anything". She just stated facts.

she made it sound as if was everyone's fault- not so
that needed to be clarified IMO

She just said "people" - she didn't say everyone.

It wasn't just one person's fault either, so she stated it correctly.
