Well....ummm....you seem to be suggesting that the hundreds of 'churches' who are "winning souls" in Memphis aren't effective at all in reducing crime.

Some great churches here: Bellevue Baptist, Hope Presbyterian, Life Church of Memphis, Temple of Deliverance COGIC, New Direction Christian Church, Bethel Church (the one I pastor), Love and Truth Cordova. And then there's Elvis...

"Great" as in UPCI great or "great" as in WPF great? Or "great" as in yet another organization "great".
Maybe you should ask epley, he's under the delusion that he's the head of one of thousands of churches established by Jesus Christ. I'm guessing that he thinks his church, bro. epley's church, is "great". He may know of bro so-and-so's church in Memphis that's "great" also.

No, you are. I never said their goal was to reduce crime lol.
That's like saying gardeners aren't effective at reducing crime

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
