Hmmm...I also thought Guy was called the lead singer. I know that Mark was a baritone, and David Phelps has always been tenor. Russ took Mark's place, so I thought he was a baritone also. Whatever, they're all wonderful singers, and I love to hear them!

Probably a matter of terminology......I was referring more to being the "front men".......and the ones who do the most solos!

To be clear not the Anglican church most people think of. An African Charismatic offshoot.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

And the youth leaders baptize in the titles. Remember that?

No, Hoovie! Just stating a fact. It's nothing like a Pentecostal church since Bro. Hardwick stepped down.
Our last year there, we never heard any mention of Holy Ghost baptism. They believe in it, but it's not a point of emphasis like you would normally hear in a Pentecostal church.
As mentioned, it was no big deal when a youth leader baptized in the titles. If cornered, leadership will tell you that they believe in the traditional orthodox view of the trinity.
As CC1 mentioned, they ordain all of their ministers in the Anglican church, but it's a branch if the Anglican church that tolerates charismatic type worship.

You have wanted more emphasis on Spirit baptism since before Bro. Hardwick stepped down, correct? I can't even imagine what it's like now.
I read the statement of faith. Christ Church is Pentecostal on paper. LOL.
