When anyone tries to assert their will I punch that spirit right in the mouth.

It just seems that in my town it is the women who try it more often than men. I am not sexist or an ultracon, I'm just keepin' it real and asking for AFF's opinions on this stuff.
I have seen many men who are pastor's not want anyone to look at the finances and many of them abused the money. Be careful...

That is not what I meant at all. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough?

Of course we have a church board and oversight! What I mean is that no one person is going to run the church. No one person is going to subvert scriptural authority. No one person will tell me what to preach.

Dude, I make so litte money pastoring! LOL I give it all back.

Sometimes that really is the problem. But women withhold certain things or threaten to leave if they don't get their way, ya know. And I am NOT joking.

I totally agree with you, my brother. I was agreeing with you in that first post too.....LOL!

I have also seen women as well as men attempt to tell the pastor how to run the church, even going as far as to tell him what to preach! I don't agree with that at all.

I lost three families over this stuff last year. It about broke my heart.

They went to another church and the same thing played out there.

That's really sad. If they have children, they will reap what they are sowing through them. I've seen it happen time and time again.

I don't know. I can't imagine what you are talking about. I agree with the posts by Heavenlyone.

I don't understand how you lost 3 families.... Over what? Women's standards? The nursery schedule? The color of the carpeting?

I think you need to speak more concretely; so we can fairly evaluate the evil these women have wrought.

Newman, it was an overall attitude that men were stupid and incompetent. They said as much to their husbands on a continual basis. It had nothing to do with standards that I know of because I don't harp on that stuff. Over time that same attitude worked its way into everything they did in the church.

I think you are being a little disingenuous as well. You know exactly what I am talking about.

I assure you I don't. Feel free to enlighten me. I have to run for now, but I look forward to understanding what you speak of.
