Incredible pictures! Tears streamed down my face as I looked at each one! Thank God for folks like you all that took the time to do such a great service to those people in Kenya! How God must have been smiling at what you did.

Re: Finally! Kenya 2010 Pictures

Thanks, Lacey. What sweet words!!

This was my fifth trip to Kenya, but my first time to take a team. It was a lot more stressful than usual, and it's taken me longer to get back in the swing of things. I think it's just the responsibility of making sure everyone gets along (which they did), that they all have a good time (which they did), and that they feel like they got their money's worth since it's a really expensive trip. I think they all felt good about everything, since they mostly all want to go back. Going on group trips like this really forms deep bonds with the people you travel with. We faced some incredible hardships and trials, but I didn't hear complaining. How could you look at the way they live over there, and ever complain about anything? It's very humbling.

Isn't it amazing how children all over the world are alike. Some seem shy, some seem outgoing in the photos. But all fascinated with y'all. So thankful there are people that are willing to go. When I was little I was always fascinated with the missionaries and their stories. Wanted to go to Africa, now kind of wish I had.

Those sweet, sweet children - knowing God early in their lives is going to make a difference in the adults they become. Thank you for showing the wonderful smiles and the joy that was in each face!!!! Just amazing!!!
