I thought the thread starter was joking, but last night I read the story in the PH, and enjoyed it very much. Being raised in a poor agricultural family I can sort of relate.

It is indeed comforting to know Jesus toils on our behalf far beyond our own strength allows.

I was joking with Ed.

It's a great analogy. God is our heavenly Father and better than any earthly father could possibly be. There is an overabundance of scriptures that teach us that God is our strength. Sometimes He allows us to be weak because that's when His is the strongest. 2 Cor 12:9
