I wonder if this is how Jesus fasted 40 days?

Dunno.
Matthew 4:2, along with
Luke 4:2 (which states that He ate "nothing"), appear to be intended to follow the experience of Moses in
Exodus 34:28, where it is stated that Moses neither ate nor drank for that time period.
This would seem to indicate some sort of supernatural event related to the giving of the Law and Covenants to Israel and the New Covanant that Jesus Christ revealed for us.
After each fast (Moses' and Jesus') both men were then tempted sorely. Moses saw the Ten Temptations (
Numbers 14:22) that the children of Israel (and he himself at times) were responsible for. Jesus was tempted of the devil. I wonder, which one faced the worse trial?
