Both Jason and OP were wrong.

Jason posted a thread accusing another forum of doing something they didn't do, at that time. His public flogging warranted the ban, IMO.

OP was wrong for calling Jason a liar. That may be, but as a pastor some things are expected.

As for Troublemaker ... calling fellow ministers "like-minded cronies" is simply wrong.

Ok, for the record, everyone knows that I am not cosy with the ultra conservative views of most things.

Jason wasn't banned, but he did wade into an issue that most on that forum has strong feelings for and little toleration for discussion.

Should they yes be, but that is the reality.

But he wasn't banned at least when he started this thread.

I'm just curious.... what things are open for discussion? What things are actually debated on forums like this? You can't debate any issue concerning the New Birth, can't debate tithing, probably can't debate issues like pants/hair/makeup.... what is acceptable debate material?

Not much it seems. But its their forum, they left me on it, I don't go into areas that will bring them running. Just not wise.

If Jason had some storied ministerial past, etc. They might be more open.

I am not taking sides, just pointing out the reality. Its their sandbox and those are the rules they make.

You been around long enough to know the game with ministers. Yes it is a game and yes it does go on.

I do not condone it but it happens.

They gave you ample warning and you disregarded the warnings. Was it right? Maybe not. It is just life.

There are unwritten rules of conduct that they have set up and if you want to continue on that forum, as Kieth said, you must do certain things.

Riling up the Admins re: Tithing was probably not the best move. You might feel like you were 100% right but they were the ones who control the "Ban" button.

It's life Bro.

By the way..... I believe and practice tithing so not to be misunderstood here.
