I wouldn't mind being called mamaw or nana either. I will probably be so happy I won't care.

I think Nonna is my favorite from these lists.

All my moms grandchildren call her Nonnie. We came up with that when I was pregnant with my daughter, she was going to have a bunch of grandmothers living, so my mom wanted to be special!
It is so much her name now that sometimes I even call her that!
My cousins little boy is being raised my aunt (his grandmother) and he calls her Ma... and calls my grandmother (his great grandmother) "old Ma"!!!!!!! He came with those on his own!

Re: Too Young For "Grandma"
I am a grandmother of 7 who felt to young to be a grandparent and when my first was due I wanted to be called mimaw but the kids did the grandma thing anyway. I will say there is nothing more speacil in this world than hearing those blessed words GRANDMA from such speacil people. I could care less about hearing any other words than that.

Re: Too Young For "Grandma"
I do daycare in my home and my mom hangs out with us alot. We go to lunch, shopping, field trips, etc. together. The little girls that I watch call her MomMom. Mylee started that when she first started talking and it just stuck.
When my niece was little she called her "Our Mom". Nobody could figure out why until one day when my sister turned to one of us and said, "Let's see if our mom wants to go too". duh!

I was 43 when I was blessed with my first grandchild.
I chose to be called MawMaw and it stuck.
