We're making it ,ok and my daughter is doing ok ,except she called when I went to church for the men's prayer meeting ,she called while I was talking to the Pastor ,she was fussy cause she was hungry ,also I'm having to stay on her about doing her A.C.E. paces ,but we're doing good.

Bro. Scott,

He giveth more grace! We raised six, three of each, and they

all turned out loving God and their parents and each other. When

we do the best we can, He will do what we can't do. Our oldest

daughter just told me a day or so ago (they have five wonderful

sons, ages 9-23), "Mom, I am reminding myself of you more all the

time". We become much like that which we are following. Who is

leading us. Those who led me to a certain point have gone on

out of sight, but the God who led them is leading us right along.

We are the ones in the lead now. When we go out of sight, the

next in line will step up and take their place. Often I look into the

mirror and "see" my precious mother staring back at me. I remind

myself of her so much. But I have a lot of my daddy in me. I needed

both their input.

Bro. Scott, a father's relationship to his daughters are SO important!

Much of what I am today is because of my father, who was looking

to his Heavenly Father to show him how to guide me. I am SO grateful!

May our Heavenly Father direct you as you guide your precious daughters.

Blessings,

Falla39

Hey Bro. Scott, I was in Foley, AL this past Thursday and Friday at a Renaissance seminar for preachers taught by Bro. Floyd Odom. How far are you from Foley? I am supposed to be back for Renaissance III in August some time and I would love to meet you and buy your family a good dinner at Lamberts! That is, if you survive the Mexico fiasco!

Same here! I remember that my mom would put that record on, turn the volume up as loud as we could take it, and we would dance around the living room while singing into our fake microphones (usually a hairbrush or candlestick)

Lol~

Scott~This reminds me of when I was younger and my mother had to go in have her gallbladder removed. There were five of girls all under the age of 12 then, I can still see my dad cooking, he was alot of fun, my dad really got into it making homemade biscuits, he toss them in the air singing away.
The deal is my dad could only cook a handful of things, biscuits, Portuguese linguica, bacon, pancakes, wallfuls and scramble eggs. We lived on that for weeks three times a day, he did try making bean soup once, not even the dog would eat it~ This was the day before fast foods and Wendy's, Mcdees, BugerKing or microwaves none of these were around yet, so today dads have it somewhat easier I think.

All of us kids and including my dad ran around in pink underwear, socks he threw all the stuff into the wash without separating them. By the time my mom got back home we all miss match and my poor dad all that hair, he bush it put it in pony tails, overall dad did great ~ You'll have fun so will your daughter, this is good daughter and father time, enjoy it goes by way to fast~...
