"Somebody Help George!!" - Strange Dream

I had a very thought-provoking and disturbing dream early this morning that woke me up. Usually my dreams make no sense, but this one was so vivid and real that I really felt like it was from the Lord.

I dreamed that I was driving in a stream of traffic and was at an intersection when three elderly people started across the street. All of a sudden a pack of dogs came after them. The dogs all ran past except for one, who lunged at one man, right at his abdomen. For some reason, I knew the man's name was George, but I didn't know him. I jumped out of the car and started screaming for help for George, but I couldn't get close to him because of the dogs. Everyone else just kept driving and acting like nothing was happening.

Finally the dog ran away, but George was left with a huge bloody gaping hole (about a foot in diameter) where his intestines should have been. He was still standing, but his eyes and mouth were open in shock. I knew he was going to die soon.

I woke up in a panic because no one was helping George. I felt like the Lord spoke to me that sometimes we attack each other and rip each other's guts out and everyone just stands by and watches it happen, not realizing how deadly it can be. But the person attacked is left with a huge gaping hole, and sometimes dies. It tore me up, because I've seen it happen too often with Christians, and even on this forum. I even wondered if our George on here had been attacked, and I had missed it.

Please forgive me if I've ever been a part of something so vicious. I don't ever want to see God's children destroyed.

There, I got that off my chest. Now maybe I can get some relief!!!

I think George in your dream is George W Bush.

I do not want to bash GWB in this thread.

I think that he will continue to fight the dogs in the coming years.

The wound to his mid section is consistant with the stress that he will continue to face in the coming years.

The life and death thing to me speaks to his spiritual man.

Those in the cars driving by him to me reflect the media on how they will have little use for Bush once he leaves office.

As for those of us who can pray that is the only way to reach him and pray for his safety.

I may not have it all right.

I am no Joseph, but I think we need to continue to pray for GWB.

you know sherri i had a situation recently that bothered me, and i got attacked by someones mouth, something that was said, they do not know that i know they said it,. but it bothered me, and it was from someone i really counted on, and it just eats me up when people have to tear other people like vultures, we are suppose to treat people like we want to be treated, so i try hard to treat people with respect, and dignity and with kindness of soft words, and i know i am not perfect but God forgive me if i was to rip someone apart like a dog, no way in this world, By Gods grace, it was an eye opener for me, it really talked to my spirit, thanks for sharing, God bless

This is totally TIC, but did you ever consider that when someone treats you badly, they may be obeying the golden rule and, therefore, want to be treated that way? And it would be just wrong not to treat them how they want to be treated!

I am unable to explain this as I understood it, but as soon as I read this post, this came to my mind. Too many sheep are straying from the safety of the fire. The Shepherd is there to protect the sheep. If we stray to far from the safety of the group, where there is safety in numbers, we will be devoured by wolves. We can not be lukewarm, but must remain in the safety of the fire that keeps the enemy at bay. In the hour in which we live, it is very important to live for God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength. It's too late to give up now.
