TFT preached and did excellent. He is such a comforter.
My dear friend Mickey Mangun came to the wake. She had to drive back to Alex. that night .They were leaving on vacation the day of the funeral or I would of had her sing at the funeral.
Ruth Munsey , Jonathan Cupit, Bill LaRue, Tyhuff and myself sang.
I will post pics as soon as I get them.
The Johnsons cancelled their wed. night service so we could have the wake.
They blessed our family BIG TIME.
I miss my mom but I know she is in the presence of the KING.

You are right and we'd be selfish to want them to stay here not whole when they can be in the presence of the KING!
I'm sure she was honored in the way that she should have been!

Vicki, do you know the song "If you could see me now" ??
I've been thinking about all of you and praying for your family as you've gone through this very hard time. That song keeps coming to me. I think maybe it's for you. God bless you.

These are the words.......
If You Could See Me Now
If You Could See Me Now
(Kim Noblitt)
Our prayers have all been answered. I finally arrived.
The healing that had been delayed has now been realized.
No one's in a hurry. There's no schedule to keep.
We're all enjoying Jesus, just sitting at His feet.
Cho: If you could see me now, I'm walking streets of gold.
If you could see me now, I'm standing strong and whole.
If you could see me now, you'd know I've seen His face.
If you could see me now, you'd know the pain is erased.
You wouldn't want me to ever leave this place,
If you could only see me now.
My light and temporary trials have worked out for my good,
To know it brought Him glory when I misunderstood.
Though we've had our sorrows, they can never compare.
What Jesus has in store for us, no language can share. (Chorus twice)
You wouldn't want me to ever leave this perfect place
If you could only see me now
If you could see me now
If you could only see me now
Kim Noblitt, (c) 1992 Integrity's Praise/BMI and Dad and Dann Music
Sung by Truth (Russ Lee, soloist) on "Something to Hold On To," 1992.

Thanks for the report. Know that many have been praying for you and your family. Dora and I tried to get out there....but our thoughts and minds were there with ya. We sang at the conclusion of our Easter Service going into Communion..."IN the Presence of Jehovah" and I thought about you and your mom and was like..she lived her whole life just for this...to be in the presence of the one who died for our sins and rose again!
You take care Vicki! May you be comforted.

just wanted to drop in today and thank ya'll for the beautiful flowers.
its been a tough time for us, knowing the Lord helps you through these times.
if you didn't know Him you would question and turn to the bottle, but there is a hope and a blessed assurance that someday we will see her and Jim along with our dad as well.
even while she was sick we could see her, touch her and sing to her and watch her responses to the presence of God,she is now not here to do that.
we love her but God loved her more and wanted her, He won, He has it all in control. We continue to trust Him with our lives. He is Faithful.
thanks again for your prayers and again the flowers.

The flowers were just a small token to let you know we cared and were praying!
It's tough, but you know the Comforter!

This is so true, Renda...it's at times like this that we understand the work of the Comforter in our lives.
