I love Scrabble, just don't play it with a crossword addict!

You have to order it on-line. I think my daughter found it in Houston - somewhere.

Re: Playing Games

Oh...games! My youngest is 4 and we can FINALLY play board games. I'm sooo excited about this, can you tell!? lol

We got quite a few games recently. Cadoo is AWESOME for your age kids. Seriously, you'll all have so much fun!

Justyn got a Ladybug game that's....annoying as anything I've ever played before in my life. lol But he loves it and it's mostly pictoral so great for him at age 4.

My 10 year old LOVES monopoly. We have a monopoly game planned for this weekend.

I'm going to try to teach my 4 year old to play candy land because as annoying as I find that, it's far less than the ladybug game. lol

We got twister too. I can not play and the kids haven't shown any interest.

We have parcheesi too.

And of course, checkers and chess.

We have Uno and Crazy 8s for card games.

If your kids like card games, you must try Skip bo and Phase 10. Both are just awesome and we'll be adding those to our collection as soon as I can manage to.

My 10 year old found a game in the advertising that came with the stupid ladybug game that looks fantastic. It's by Zobmondo and it's called "Would you rather..?" It asks questions like, would you rather age only from the neck up, or age only from the neck down. There's also a version for younger kids called "You gotta be kidding!" The question included in the ad for that one is "would you rather eat fried monkey brains or eat the raw guts from a huge snake?" Ok, yeah, gross. But I have boys and it sounds like it'd really engage everyone in hilarious conversation and a lot of laughter.

Oh, and my kids were given a Wii last week. Oh my goodness. I think I finally have full range of motion again. lol I played tennis waaaaaaaaay too long one day. I hurt so bad the next day, it really did make me laugh. We've been setting up competitions and tournaments on that thing all week. We've also been competing for the top scores. It's all a blast.

We all play computer games too. While none of those are (at this time) multiplayer games, it gives us all something to discuss. We do have some multiplayer games that we could play over a network...but we're minus the extra computer or two to do it. We used to play Starcraft and my oldest would beat me every time. lol
