Re: Youth promo video from the my Church-
Curious how that on this forum an absence of standards is considered positive while anyone who has them is torn apart as being legalistic and in bondage.
The hypocrisy of many on this forum is astounding.

Prov...you are jumping my case for being critical of this youth group and yet if you look at the other thread about the keybourdist that cooper started you will see what this lack of standards eventually leads to.
Unless someone starts preaching real holiness to these young people it will be a matter of time (looks like it is happening already) till all standards go out the window.

It depend on how one defined' s standards. We have Gods standards and then we have mans ideal of what Gods standards should be?
I don't know of one person who does not hold some sort of standards day to day, everyone has standards, this is misperception on the part of many oneness believers, within their teachings. Some deem the standards as a sign they are right before God and it has become their salvation or calling card!
God has no such standards of a dress sign, nor is there bible to back up this tradition of man, it has become a salvation unto itself.
You make the clam that anyone who holds to the standards is torn apart as being legalistic and in bondage. Yet many oneness folks don't see their own hypocrisy in this matter, saying those who don't hold to our so called set of standards don't have any standards, they are lost . Do you not see hypocrisy here?
Yes Gods people will different unlike this world, but it's a far cry from a wardrobe one!

It's always interesting to me to watch how things progress for cons...
hoˇly (hō'lē)
adj. hoˇliˇer, hoˇliˇest
1. Belonging to, derived from, or associated with a divine power; sacred.
2. Regarded with or worthy of worship or veneration; revered: a holy book.
3. Living according to a strict or highly moral religious or spiritual system; saintly: a holy person.
4. Specified or set apart for a religious purpose: a holy place.
5. Solemnly undertaken; sacrosanct: a holy pledge.
6. Regarded as deserving special respect or reverence: The pursuit of peace is our holiest quest.
7. Informal Used as an intensive: raised holy hell over the mischief their children did.
I don't see a thing about clothing in that definition. The only one that could be contrived that way is number 3.

Re: Youth promo video from the my Church-
I don´t think either side should criticize. I think we can state what we believe and why we differ and be nice about it...The bible does talk about the fruits of the spirit...often missing in some circles...
