I wholeheartedly agree, but the team was sticking together. Other reporters and such were placing the blame on her without actually saying it.
On another note, was I the only one who thought that the commentators-both the one with the moustache and heavy accent and the other one-looked as though they were going to cry after US got silver?

Re: Olympics last night
I was so excited to watch it, and I blogged all my thoughts about it here.
Also, I totally agree that the Chinese may be lying about some of those girls' ages. They had to show their passport to prove their ages, and the Chinese government would DEFINITELY provide these girls with false papers if they knew they could help beat the U.S. at something they're known to be good at.
At any rate, the Chinese were just better, regardless of the age. They deserved the gold last night.

Just read your blog, which made me think of it differently.
I'd never considered, really, that win or lose, the US team will still have more than China when they return home.

Michael Phelps is really amazing to watch. He has the record in gold medals. I am not surprised.

Question: "He, are you aware that people think that you are younger than 16 and what do you say about that?"
Answer: "My real age is 16. I don't care what other people say. I want other people to know that 16 is my real age."
Question: "Deng, I would also like to know what Chinese zodiac animal you are?
Answer: "A monkey." The answer tallied with her birthdate of April 21, 1992.
Question: "He, can you tell us a memory from your 15th birthday please, how did you spend your 15th birthday, did you spend it at home, did you spend it with gymnasts? Can you tell us about that special day."
Answer: "I was with my team. It was an ordinary day, I didn't go home, usually we don't go home when it's our birthday, we just celebrate with our team mates."

Asians can look very young for their age especially at that age plus they are all small as gymnasts tend to be (tall ones don't do well) and even American gymnasts look young too but for the fact they have cakes of makeup on.

In many foreign countries it is easy to get false documents.

Even the team leader, Cheng Fei, looked young for 20, but I understand what you're saying. However, there was one girl there[I think it was He?] where it was painfully obvious that she wasn't 16.

Whoa! Did you just see that race? Phelps and the Ruskie with the Russian way out in front the whole way. Then on the FINAL stroke the American Phelps beats the Russian because he had his strokes timed to fit the pool, whereas the Russian lost a second gliding into the finish.

Re: Olympics last night
I'm a huge track and field fan.
But Tyson Gay didnt make the finals of the 100m sprint, so I'm a bit bummed right now.
Should still be a goood race though.

Dont you think you could have got your teeth fixed before competing. knowing you was going to be on TV the whole Olympics you should have invested some money in dental work.
