I have a similar exercise bike over in the corner here. I haven't used it in a while since my knees have started giving me problems.
As for the skirt I have found when riding my bike in a skirt it rides up and is very uncomfortable. No gym here so all my exercise when I do them is private.

My skort doesn't have a flap...and yes this one is longer.

Skorts were a big no-no at my former church. Along with kulottes, or anything similar. They didn't want you wearing anything that even gave the 'feeling' of being pants/men's clothes.
Imagine my surprise when I found out other Apostolics got to wear these garments, but we couldn't.

I remember back in the day, we had a discussion in the Bible College student center and there were some guys saying, "If a woman can't do something modestly in a dress, she shouldn't do it"...
So that meant no swimming, skiing (not that I would EVER try that again), working out.... wait this is starting to sound like a good plan!

I think the idea is a neat concept. I am not certain how big of a share of the market this might have, but it is practical enough. One thing that is good about it is that it seems to be comfortable enough that a lady could wear it other wise and be comfortable. I think it is a good thing. My 15 yr old sister-in-law has to ride a bike to school everyday and she is trying to use the excuse that you can't ride a bike comfortably enough in a skirt. Now if my in-laws get this it might be good for her. Imagine all the Apostolic schools having their girls play sports in these. lol But still it is a good idea!

Well, if a woman takes the tact that she should wear a skirt 100% of the time, then the truth is, there ARE some activities she cannot participate in--not if she wants to be modest, that is.
If modesty is of no concern--then have at it.

if you have to exercise at a co-ed place , i think it is wrong if you really have morals, if you cant exercise on a bike -then dont ride a bike, take a walk, we dont do co-ed swimming, dont swim, if thats what you beleive in then find something else to do,
