"Peanuts". You know, the Charlie Brown Specials. A diverse bunch of kids who fuss, argue, go their separate ways, live their own little lives, but, when its all said and done, come together in the end and really cares about each other. Linus may be ridiculed for believing the "Great Pumpkin Doctrine" and well, there was good reason Charlie Browns Christmas tree was scorned and laughed at. But in the end, they all came together to make that Christmas tree a thing of beauty. And Schroder. No one can play the piano like Schroder. We've got our Lucys here, and our Linus' (with security blanket and all). And we've got our Peppermint Patty's -whose sole goal in life seems to be to teach the Charlie Browns among us that we aren't such Blockheads afterall. And who can forget the Snoopy's among us? Those who keep us safe from the terrible Red Baron's of this ol' world. They will crawl behind enemy lines to keep the world right from all of its wrongs. And what does he ask for in return? Nothing. Nothing but his supper dish and the sanctity of the roof of his dog house. Then theres the Little Red-headed girl, the object of Charlie Browns affections. She gives us hope that we will one day co-exist in harmony. And its that hope that keeps us coming back to read- and post- in the continuing story of the Apostolic Friends Forum.
Just watch- probably this very week we'll see the scene played out again. Someone will post and prayer request, and Lucy will open her psychiatric stand and offer words of encouagement, Charlie Brown will lead the way to find a solution (and be ridiculed for it), Linus will be there to share his blanket, and Snoopy will stand guard on the lofty perch of his dog house. And Schroder will play. And all will be well, because we'll all lay down our toys, and come together to help one another in the time of need.

I think the teacher should be those people who post pages of scripture and never actually write anything themselves... or they may write one sentence that you have to dig for amidst 3 pages of scripture...
