If you remember, the day before he was born the doctors did a sonogram and found his heart rate was over 300. They called it Super Ventricular Tachycardia.
He came out of that a few hours later and was born the next day. From that day until yesterday he was clear of any kind of event with his heart.
Yesterday he went into SVT twice.
I have not gotten to talk to the Cardiologist but my wife spoke to the neonatologist and he is now on a drug Propanolol to regulate his heart rate.
I simply don't have any more information than that and need to talk to the Cardiologist. We don't know what the long term outlook is as of yet. We don't know what this means as far as him coming home, and we don't know what this means on how we have to deal with it once he does come home.
Frankly I have way more questions than answers. All I know is my little boy has a serious problem with his heart.
I will update as soon as I know more.
