It is so odd for me to attend a church that has three services on Sunday... and as it is told by pastor "I preach the same sermon at all three services".

It is actually meant to pick and choose the best time for you on Sunday and go... it is taking me a while to get used to. I usually attend the 2:30 service on Sunday, but thinking about changing to the 9:00am for the summer.

Another thing I think is odd is our revivals are Sunday, Monday and Tuesday... never over the weekend.

.
We have 2 services on Sunday. One at 9:00 for SS and 10:15 for Service and then they do it over again at 4:15.

Most of the times he preaches the same sermon. But the afternoon is a little different because he has time to think and pray about it more on what he could have done differently. Sometimes God tells him to preach something totally different for the afternoon crowd.

We went to 2 services because our facilities couldn't handle the crowd any more. Now our morning services is about as big as our one service used to be. Attendance has really risen since we started the 2 services. Don't know how much longer we can stay here. But that is a good problem to have!!

I fellowship with LadyRev and her husband every day, just about.

LR and I talk a lot about church issues and such as well, but it's not the same as being in church. It's that fellowship I miss.

We live in a small town with LOTS of churches. We do a few Spanish speaking churches. AOG, COC, Baptist.

Too many people was the cause of our service changes too.. our building was built new in 2004... and it seats approx 500 or so...it was built as the first phase.... we desperately need phase 2. Before the service change, we got to the point we were sitting out folding chairs and you just couldn't find a seat... choir sat on platform and everything. That is a good problem to have.

this past Sunday was different... The 2:30 service ended up with no preaching because of a powerful move of God... so the early services don't know what they missed.. lol

Re: Church Attendance

We have church Sunday morning, Thursday night, and Saturday night.

And I visit somewhere else on Sunday night, (sometimes Sunday afternoon too), Tuesday night, and Wednesday night. And a lot of times there's something going on on a Friday that I go to. And pretty rarely something on Monday.

So sit down with your children once a week and have devotions and worship.

That's a good idea. At least they attend church three times a week, and go to youth events. They are both very actively involved, and I love it.
