First, thank you to admin for placing similar thread titles at the bottom of a page...had it not been for that, I would have missed this wonderful post by Ferd today.
Second, thank you, Ferd, for the words you posted in March helped me today and I am grateful.
The anger and struggle runs deep, but God is a healer...I am counting on that.
Aren't you glad that our God is an ontime God, Barb? He knows exactly what we need when we need it. You probably did NOT need this in March but it was right there for you to open in July.
I'm praying for you, Friend.

Great post Ferd. Thanks for bumping it so even the slowpokes like me had a chance to read it . It's amazing what kind of things happen in our lives to make us stronger, wiser, and more productive. I am thankful that "all things work together for the good" is more than just an empty phrase.
As much as I like to mess with you, I have always appreciated your spirit. It's amazing how you can pick up on that even via the WWW.

Thanks for the reminder Ferd. We all need it sometimes.

Thanks for bumping this up, don't guess I ever read it. It is such great advice.
My husband and myself had similar hurts several years ago from a pastor and several church members. My husband did not let things get to him but, heavens, did I have a hard time overcoming and not being bitter. I still have a hard time with it once in a while and it's been over 7 years ago. Just last night I ran into a couple of ladies from that church and they did their obligatory shun of me as usual. I walked right up to them (and the thought came to my mind of what Randy Wayne said the other day of making them get that look of horror on their face....I was almost giggling....LOL).........anyway, I walked up and spoke to both of them. They did speak back but you could tell it was still uncomfortable for them. sigh.
You are right Bro Ferd. I control me....I can't control others and how they act, but I've grown tired of worrying about things like that anymore.
