Actually, I'm not looking for the anti-Christ nor the son of perdition that will be revealed. I've got my head lifted up and I'm looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith!

[QUOTE=Digging4Truth;421772]I have received this same email TOO many times. I am amazed at the emails that Christians will mindlessly forward without giving it any thought or study.
Are you guilty?
Here is the email
I hate to admit it, but I never forward ANY of these "Please pass it on" emails. Too busy?? Too self absorbed???? Nah, I just have found out too many times that they are usually forms of the same hoax stuff and are no more real thean the Nigerian emails I receive advising me of the millions upon millions of dollars on deposit for me in a nigerian bank to which I have been discovered to be the only existing benificiary. (You know where all you have to do is provide them with your bank account number and pin number so they can transfer the millions into your bank account) Oh yeah and the Ebay/Pay Pal / Citi bank warnings that my account has been tapped into and they need me to immediately forward my account number and pin number to stop the pilfering.
Oh yeah and.....
The little girl in (take your pick) Poland, Hungary, Croatia who is in the hospital with (again take your pick) severe burns, cancer or diabetes or needing a liver/heart/kidney transplant. The emails that promise to bring a penny or dollar or what have you pay off every time it is forwarded or the ones that promise me free dinners at chilis, Red Lobster etc. All a waste of my time.
How long have we been getting these please pass it on things and STILL there are folks out there who actually BELIEVE the sad story they are being told. The email YOU referenced is UNDOUBTEDLY the product of an Anti Obama person/group (And why do the initials HRC spring to mind here???) who is attempting to damage his campaing.
Well better go, just received an email telling me that if I pass it on to seven friends I will be blessed and probably win the million dollar lottery (If I dont I might end up like the general in the Phillipines who got it DIDN'T forward it and was killed in a car accident! (You can't be too careful I DONT want that to happen to me!)
I see antichrist everywhere and everytime I see counterfeit Christianity!

Ugh! NO! I rarely forward anything, and I HATE the emails that say things like: "If you don't forward this to 15 people, you're cursed, bad, not a Christian, don't love orphans, etc etc etc."

I do agree that the original email is absurd, but I wouldn't say I agree with your response to it.
I happen to believe the man we commonly refer to as Antichrist is a "he"... the same "man of sin" that Paul speaks of in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12.
That said, I don't believe Obama is that man.

"Antichrist" is a misnomer though when we think of the man of sin or the beast. Antichrist is only mentioned in 1 John and 2 John, and is not at all about those guys. Check it out! Digging is correct.
