Truer words....

Sometimes it is just a waste to address an issue, some people will just never get it.

That is true but I never give up hope for truth in all things!

What do you mean by fight? There was only "one" pastor's wife that I have met in 21 years that I wanted to knock her block off. Fortunately, I waited "nine" years and God moved her.

I would never hit anyone...even tho some people I have been pretty frustrated with...I voted to fight, but I can't say I would fight to the blood for an opinon....but to protect someone I love you bet your life I would...I carry and I would use it if I needed too...

I am not sure really what the question is asking...come on Ron give us more to work with here!

Right. I think it's wrong to get into a knock down drag out or even a yelling match - unless - it's your spouse.

And yes to protect someone you love. I might get ragged about this, but there was a stray German Shepherd in our yard growling at our kids - I went into the house - got my gun and he was history. I'm not apologizing for that - even to you HO!

I love my dog, and I like other dogs to a point, but you bet I would shot one that threatened my kid..my grandson was malled when he was pretty young and he still has the scars. The dog almost tore his face off...I would have shot that dog if I had been there...

I would also shoot/hit/stab/bash any humane that tried to hurt my family....or me for that matter.

Thanks, that wasn't my first dog to shoot or probably my last. If they are strays and they growl, well....and even if they are in my yard and not a stray and growl.......

I don't anticipate any violence against my family, but my first reaction would be....take names later....

Back to church, though......many situations are won on our knees and allowing God to work on our behalf. Seen it too many times NOT to believe it.

I'll fight to get my own way occasionally. That's usually only with carnal things... like my head is pounding from dealing with two children under two all day long and I dont want company but my husband does... sometimes I'll fight to NOT have company.

If I had to protect my family I'd fight... physically, spiritually, politically, emotionally...

I don't argue with just anyone over just anything. The Bible doesn't tell us to wrestle with flesh and blood.
I also pick my battles... in the natural. In a marriage for instance... sometimes you have to give a bit...

This question could go so many different ways... spiritual fights.. carnal fights... family fights... you name it. So I can't vote a simple yes or no... so many different situations. And I react to them all differently.

Does that answer your question?

Did the pastors wife story have anything to do with me or was that just in passing... (cause I'm no pastor's wife.. thankfully)

Right. There are different ways to fight - spiritual and carnal.

No, I didn't think of you. I was trying to recall a time that I actually wanted to use physical force on someone, besides my husband, and she was the only one I can think of, after I got in church, that is.

I have had a tussle or two before I was saved. Hehehehehehe! I only started one of them. I called a lady a hag and she came after me. Fortunately, the cops arrived and pulled us off of each other. I was only 19, so.....
