Personally I think splitting it North and South is a great idea. As it is, for many Western district churches, it's impossible to travel 6 hours more or less every year to a camp meeting.
It will also afford a new redrawing of the sections. AS it is, our section stretches from Thousand Oaks all the way up to Paso Robles (or somewhere up there)...it's probably a 4 hour drive from one end to another and yet other churches nearby like Simi Valley...about 1/2 hour away, is not in our district

PRAX...where in the world have you been???? We reported this sometime ago.
I have not heard of the 3 districts, although I know it has been talked about in theory. What I do know is that the Southern California group has went through the formal process and met with Haney and Mullings about a month ago and presented their case. Everything will be going to the General Board for a vote...which, I believe, will take place in Tampa during the General Board business session. As of this moment it will be Southern California District and the Western District. On all accounts, this will be a yes vote and will go forward as such.
