Oh, and I know... you are all just Bereans seeking to ensure that you are right and now some of you are afraid you are wrong... Just keep on seeking until you find yourself with no belief or a universalist belief because you have concluded that EVERYONE is wrong so all must be right!

Geesh!
Hmm. Not sure what you're saying, here. Do you mean we should never question anything? Or just this particular scripture? If the latter, is it because the common understanding (right or wrong) happens to support Oneness? Does it even matter if our interpretations are correct or not?

If it turns out some scripture doesn't really support Oneness as you thought it did, it doesn't mean it instead supports Trinity! And you have other scriptures, don't you?

Seriously. What does your post mean?

What I am saying is what I am saying. This site has become a hotbed of "Everything I was ever taught was wrong and I want to be sure and point it out!"

Pathetic!

The true spirit of the Berean is to be admired but that is not what I see evidenced in most of the cases on this forum. This is rapidly becoming nothing more than a book end to the spiritual abuse forum.. I guess it would be the place where folks come to point out the spiritual ignorance of those that birthed them... call it the spiritual ignorance forum!

If you don't understand me now... I can't be any more plain.

Hey, I have the right to be cranky... I am still recovering from surgery and I am also on meds.

So don't be so quick to judge....

Of course, I will confess that none of what I wrote was even remotely affected by either my recovery or my meds.

I too hope the Lord comes quickly... then we can all go home!

Thank you for this post, BROTHER. This was not meant to be a "Everything I was ever taught is wrong" thread. And, neither did I sense that in anyone's post.

It saddens me to think that you have aligned yourself with the side that believes everything is an ATTACK against you and OP.

I think Epley and Old Path have expressed it that way OA.

Maybe PhilJones too...can't tell...he's awful cranky today.
