That may be all you have answered, but follow-up questions get further into the answer. You see, there's a reason you felt obligated. It wasn't just because you were friends. I hope answering this this way will give you peace.....it is the unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another AUTHOR and the representation of that ENTIRE work as your own, like passing a book as yours when it is not. That's one reason you would tell a friend something that you wouldn't a stranger yes. There is another also. Even if you don't do something that is wrong but know your friend might feel like you are trying to pull one over on him if ya didn't tell him (even though your not trying to pull one over on him) then you would let him know what you are doing and why you are doing it.
