People like that can easily be led into all sorts of craziness like ol' Rodney Howard led so many people. I've had them to come into my meetings too. I stop it before it gets started. Let everything be done decently and in order.
Ha! I agree with you.

I heard the Bible Teacher last week mention an incident that happened in Billy Cole's church one time. It was pretty funny (to me anyhow).

This woman in his church was dancing ... pirouetting and twirling, bowing and floating down the aisle ... across the front of the church .... back up the aisle, etc....... making quite the scene.

BC said, "Lady, you need to sit down"! But she continued.

He spoke up again and said, "Will somebody please go to that woman and tell her to sit down!" Apparently, nobody did.

So he spoke up again none too pleased, and said in a loud voice exasperated, "Is there a man in this place with enough Holy Ghost to set that woman down?!!!"

Finally, an usher went to her and told her to take her seat. She was BC's Assistant Pastor's wife!!! Can you imagine?! LOL.

I thought the story was priceless.

No offense, Bill... but that's bunk. Absolute bunk.

Thad talks about someone ordering a 400 dollar lobster and that's a bad thing but suggest a UPCI preacher has a demonic spirit and that's ok?!?!?!

I think we need to be more careful...how many times have one of you thought or hears someone else say about a singer that she was just singing for herself, not for God? Like we can read her heart. If we wanted to then we can say the same thing about anyone...someone that wins souls or preachers or is used of in the gifts or alter working

Back up off'a here, bro.

Your defenses are up. Her son reported it as common knowledge among the youth.

I am not anti-UPC. I believe as an organization they have every right to establish rules of conduct for their membership.

Furthermore, I never mentioned UPC in my post.

I am a very strong proponent of prophecy both as to gift and office. Don't think that I am not. However, an immature prophet should be under tutorship, allowing for his mistakes within a mature circle of believers that will support him, allowing for his mistakes while he matures. While he matures (in love) he will make less mistakes until he is (perfected) matured in his office and/or gift. Prophesying by office is much different than by gift though both are perfected (matured) by love.

Dan seems to think that I have something AGAINST the man. I do not. Neither do I doubt that he is a Prophet. But, if he is truly a prophet, he needs to be mentored by a mature Prophet. He may not even be aware of how he is being led. I've seen novice Prophets that did not fully realize by what spirit they were led or how easily it was to be led by the spirit of error.

The initial despair that I expressed in the beginning had to do with the fact that Apostolics seem to be so gullible in accepting some of these things that they seem to have little knowledge of and what seems to be a shift in the movement. As I stated before, I felt much better after last nights service.

More later. I just got a call from some local folk that want to see me at Shoney's in a few minutes.

Bro. Strange, yesterday you said the music was strange from the Wednesday nite service.

Just wondering if it was still strange last nite.

I totally agree with you that young prophets need to be tutored. That is why T.W. Barnes took MB under his wing for many years and tutored him. TFT has done the same thing with MB. MB is very submissive to TFT. Don't you think he would have corrected him.

By the way, MB is in his 40's and has been in the ministry for me over 20 years. do you call that a novice? I sure hope we don't have to be 67 to be mature enough to be used of God. Bro., I am going to church and don't know when I will be back on line, but you are dead wrong about your statements about MB. That's my story and I am sticking to it.

My spirit revolts against new age chanting whether it be in heathern temples or in the house (assembly) of God.

I would be in favor of putting the blood of Jesus back into worship, including our singing with much less chanting.
