Here's a parable for you.

Joy Gardner and a few of her friends had a country gospel concert, charged $50 a seat and sold out Harbour Station. You can get into Summer Summit for a looney in the fried chicken bucket, and they won't half fill the Aitken Center.

Go and learn what this means.

Football fills stadiums too.

If guys too fat to skate and too slow to stick handle can fill stadiums, why wouldn't singers too tone deaf to sing to the sweet sounds of a steel guitar also fill stadiums?

Yup!

Guy Penrod would go over real well singing at Summer Summit.

You book him, and I'll be there.

I believe that the NFL serves a valuable role in the world of professional football.

If it wasn't for the NFL the poor players who can't make the cut in the CFL would have to go back to handling the cash registers at McDonalds.

well after Warren Moon and that Flutie guy, you have me at a loss to name any great CFL players! Didn't Ricky Williams try the CFL because he was caught smoking pot?
I don't think we will be getting together any time soon on a Sunday to watch sports or listen to music!
