Brother, you know what is one of the things I remember most about movies that were made in the 40s and 50s? The men wore hats like the one you have on. Then, you come on here going on and on about looking like movie stars and whatnot. You are a riot!!

Yes, well...I agree...LOL...my mother was just trying to teach me how to dress right...(hopefully without pairing plaids and stripes and other heinous crimes of fashion!)

Many of my church sisters are black and they love my hair. When they can get me to allow it they give me hairdo's.My friend Martha gave me one as a gift. Her cousin did my hair and I looked like the women on Startrek.....Deanna Troy.I loved it but the hair gel bugged me.It makes your hair tight.I have respect for black women. They go though pain to have a nice hairdo.I know many who grow long hair and keep it straightened. It is fragile though.
The current hairstyles for black women allow for long hair. They just do some really neat updo's.I love it especially the one that swirls up and cones.
Now if you don't want to do your hair and have ratty hair then yeah its going to be a bigger and bigger ball.

Here's the quote:
"In our marriage vows, we didn't say 'forsaking all others.' The vow that we made was that you will never hear that I did something after the fact...If it came down to it, then one spouse can say to the other, 'Look, I need to have sex with somebody. I'm not going to if you don't approve of it - but please approve of it."
