It's easy to preach all this. Until the covid comes to your home, or your family. You're not invincible. None of us are.

Quarantine was first instituted by the Lord for the children of Israel's safety and protection with contagious diseases. It is necessary.

The problem in our very connected world, is to how to do this. It is a logistical nightmare, as the disease has no face, and no initial presenting symptoms to alert us to who is contagious until it is too late.

And of course, we have the globalists seeking to capitalize on the virus. Let no crisis go to waste. It is a disaster of epic proportions.

But just remember, none of us are invincible.

I think denial is the way some people handle fear.

Re: Tony Spell has church in spite of the ban

Why the need for theatrics? Someone nominate Tony and his father for their Oscar-worthy performance.

Good grief.

Why couldn't he accept the summons in the lobby or in his office? Why the need for the theatrics of 8 or more people all streaming the officers walking into the sanctuary, down the aisle to the Pastor in his Sunday best standing in front of the pulpit.

That was an ego show. No other way to put it. When you could have accepted the summons any other way, but instead choose to do it this way ... that's ego and pride.

It will be interesting to see how all this plays out. I honestly do see both sides of the coin. I didn't see any issues with where he was served the summons, or any theatrics except maybe at the end with his dad sharing , after the summons had taken place. But just my opinion. Praying for God's wisdom in all of this. I am praying for all of us.

He is also willful negligent of the church he pastors. I have no idea what the legal outcome will be.

But meeting in groups during a pandemic is no different that accepting a glass of coolaid from Jim Jones.

After all, no one made them drink it.

I feel for the officers , probably not something they want to do.

nd - glad to see you can learn all you need to know about someone from a short video.
Reminds me of the assumptions taken by many in the Covington Catholic situation.
How about listening to some of us who actually know the Spells.
Now, as I have said before, our church has gone to online services, but the governments reaction to churches having service has made me want to re-think this.
Think about it, the government has basically closed every church in the USA and almost nary a squawk from us so-called Christians.
But, you can go to Walmart, Costco, Sam's, the gas station, vet offices, garden centers, etc...
Go to work if you are in an essential business (some of which have thousands of employees gathered together) and that is ok?
Not a far jump for them to say that you can go back to your normal life, if you take the antigen tests and show that you have already had Covid-19.
And just to make is easier to identify you, we will give you an invisible tattoo (which can be read with special readers).
But, maybe I am just paranoid...
