as far as the UPC church having her sing I see it more as an endorsement of her choice of the road she has travelled imo...and I wonder if the Pastor would let other folks who have travelled the same on the platform that attend the church???

we had dottie and our pastor made it clear he didnt support the "road" she had taken. he went on to say, we sing all her songs. it is obsivious she is very annointed and has a relationship with God...as is vicki. Pastor went on to say, this is not a church service....you do not have to come. i will say this....we had a packed house :-)
IMO.....i see nothing wrong with having good christian concerts at your church.

i know some that sing that do cut/trim (whatever you want to call it) their hair. does he know....probably so.
normally...no...one that looks like Dottie would not be singing a special. remember...she was not here on a church night. it was an off night.

I think that when we use those on the platform of the UPC we would disagree with on Theology or Standards we protraying a falsity of who we are...
I would go to a concert hall (not UPC) to hear those folks... because I do like their music.. do I agree with them?? No... but they are talented...
