So, if one doesn't drink grape juice and eat a piece of bread they aren't saved? Even if they believe in standards and obeying Acts 2:38? I'm not necessarily a proponent of not taking these items, but I know some folks that have a daily relationship with God in prayer and believe that this is all the communion they need. Are they going to hell?

I have preached things not correct and the Holy Ghost showed me right away and I ask forgiveness and corrected it with who I spoke if I could.I have no problem with admitting something wrong.

I have never in all my life met someone 100 % correct...( I know some that think they are) we are ALL human and our human feelings have a way of influencing what we believe. It scares me to see many things that are said. I hope at the end of life´s day I have done my best and hope as God looks over whatever I have taught or even lived His mercies come to my aid.

I have had several people, on their death beds, to tell me " I hope I've done my best, I hope I've been good enough to make it." I have thought about those statements a lot since then and thought , "Where did that come from?" When are any of us ever going to be good enough to make it, but our good works?
While it may not be a doctrine written in an AOF Manual, the idea comes from works based teaching, and a lack of understanding that salvation comes by grace thru faith in the finished work of Jesus.
If our good works could save us, we wouldn't have needed Jesus.
