Sean, you are trying to connect unrelated things. Thermodynamics has nothing to do people getting weaker or shorter. In fact, people are getting taller. I just read something that said the average height of a person has grown 4 inches in the last 150 years. Genetics adapt to what is more advantageous for survival. Using thermodynamics to say people are getting smaller is flat out wrong.

I did not say people "these days" are getting smaller....I said that folks in the days of the GIANTS were...because the Lord shortened their longevity.

No, her father was a tall man and HIS genes are in my sons.

That is why you have sometimes all of a sudden, blonde haired, blue eyed Mexicans for instance in a family that seems totally Hispanic looking...there was a 'Spaniard" involved decades before that introduced the gene to an ancestor.

Also you are just seeing a population "doubling" every 50 years which NATURALLY introduces more tall folks. Also tall folks are greatly "involved" in the gene pool.

If you stated that the Lord shortened man's days, ok. But why bring thermodynamics into this talk of men getting shorter? Yes, houses without maintenance will fall in on themselves, formations wear away, heat sources get cooler, we get it. But it sounds like you tried to use science to prove that men got smaller and have now back-pedaled to say that God did it.

Point taken. I am simply saying that NONE of us are the final authority. Besides, Prax HATES and continually condemns the KJV, which is ridiculous in my opinion. I'm not going to be lost having that as my main reading source.

Well Prax often quotes the KJV, if he really hated the KJV, he would not quote it all, but would avoid quoting like the plague. Me thinks you are exaggerating a little bit.

No problem brother, this is what its all about....

I brought it up to mention that we(you, I and all living creation) are bound by the same law of thermodynamics.

We just flat wear out...

The Lord had "shortened" mans longevity after the flood, and the good ole' law of thermodynamics has made sure of that.....rats.

An after effect of "degeneration" is big stuff gets smaller. Just leave a popsicle out in the sun and you will see. Just "divinely" cut a mans life by 3/4ths to 2/3rds of his average lifespan and you will see the same results...

What at one time was, because of longevity, an enormous being, has now not had enough time to grow before the deterioration process(law of T.) gets the best of him(including the animals)

Technically, what is happening, is our cells at a certain age, are not reproducing fast enough to replace the degenerating(dying) cells as we age. This is what this law is doing to us, sending us to a earlier grave with all current creation.
